Bob saw Dave, munching on a roll.
Bob said hello in a pleasant fashion.
Bob smiled at the equally pleasant response.
Bob liked Dave.
Bob remembered why he'd been searching for Dave.
Bob informed his friend of the Wise Man's disappearance.
Bob told Dave of his quest to find the Wise Man.
Bob was glad Dave agreed to join him.
